Frequently Asked Questions
Does Scoop-E-Doo clean the entire yard?
Scoop-E-Doo tackles dog waste anywhere on your property—front, back, or side yards, flower beds, dog runs, and more!
Do you provide dog waste removal services all year round?
Yes! Scoop-E-Doo provides dog waste removal services year-round. Even in the winter, we will still show up to provide services. In locations with snow, most of the waste that accumulates is still scoopable.
How do you ensure the safety of my dogs?
At Scoop-E-Doo, your safety and your dogs’ well-being are our top priorities. We meticulously clean all equipment and footwear between each yard using a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs. For added peace of mind, we will text you a photo of your secured gate after every visit, ensuring your pets stay safe and your yard stays worry-free.
How much does it cost to hire a professional pooper scooper?
Scoop-E-Doo offers pooper scooper service plans starting as low as $60 per month, with final pricing determined by factors such as yard size, service frequency, and the number of dogs. On average, most clients find their monthly cost ranges between $95 and $135, reflecting tailored service to meet their specific needs.
Do I have to sign a contract for pooper scooper services?
No contracts, no hassle! You have full flexibility to start, pause, or cancel your subscription anytime by contacting our office. We're here to make things easy for you!
How do you dispose of the pet waste after each visit?
Proper disposal of dog waste is vital for environmental safety, as it is considered hazardous material. At Scoop-E-Doo, we prioritize eco-friendly practices by double-bagging waste in biodegradable bags and placing it in your trash can or neatly storing it by your house if a trash can isn't available. For customers who prefer off-site disposal, we can transport the waste to a municipal waste management facility for a small additional fee, ensuring safe and responsible handling.
Can you clean with my dog in the yard?
Yes, we’re happy to clean with your dogs around! However, to ensure the safety of our team, we kindly ask that any dogs showing signs of aggression be kept indoors during the cleaning. If a dog exhibits aggressive behavior toward our team, we will require it to be brought inside, and repeated incidents may result in removal from our service route. Your cooperation helps us provide safe and reliable service for everyone!
Can I request a specific cleanup day?
To maintain efficient scheduling and keep our services affordable, we aren’t able to guarantee specific cleanup days. However, if you have a lawn care company that mows on a specific day, let us know! We’ll do our best to align your cleanup the day before to keep your yard looking its best. Your satisfaction is our priority!
Do you provide arrival windows for services?
We don’t provide specific arrival times for our pooper scooper services. However, we’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs. To keep our services efficient and affordable, we optimize routes the night before each service to minimize drive time and reduce costs.
Do I need to be home during the service?
No, you don’t need to be home for Scoop-E-Doo’s pooper scooper service! We just ask that you ensure easy access to your backyard. If your gate requires a key or passcode, please provide us with the necessary access—either by placing a key in a lockbox on the property or sharing the passcode. This helps us complete your service seamlessly, even when you’re not home.
